An independent nonprofit hospital on Astoria’s east side has 49 beds and serves the entire county. The hospital first opened in 1927. The facility on Exchange Street was built in 1977. |

Coast Guard Air Station Astoria The air station is at the Astoria Regional Airport with a primary mission of rescue, law enforcement and navigation support. |

Just south of Warrenton, the camp is maintained by the Oregon National Guard. Its rifle and pistol ranges and mock “city” make it a popular training site for area police agencies as well. |

The third annual classic was held in Warrenton on Aug. 4, bringing hundreds of fishers to the small community. Each year it benefits the Oregon Food Bank and Ducks Unlimited. |

Warrenton-Hammond School District The Warrenton-Hammond School District serves residents of Warrenton. The 550-student grade school serves children through grade 9. Warrenton High has 272 students in grades 9-12. |
