The Warrenton City Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in council chambers at City Hall, 225 S. Carruthers Park on Warrenton Drive (Highway 104) in Hammond, includes a dog park, picnic area, walking trails and restrooms. The Warrenton soccer complex on Ridge Road near SW Ninth Street has a half-dozen playing fields. Parks with picnic areas, trails and/or waterfront viewing areas include Waterfront Park on SE Second St., the Columbia River Viewpoint at the Hammond Marina and a Lewis & Clark viewing site off Warrenton Drive. The city also oversees the municipal court in the civic center, the public library in Hammond, a marina in Hammond and the Warrenton Boat Basin. |
